Open the Printer section of your control panel. Right Click on your printer and pick PROPERTIES. If there is a toolbox or advanced section, and IF there is a nozzle check on that page, then run it. Not all printers have a nozzle check function. Some don't even have a Cleaning cycle. But many Canon and Epson inkjet printers have that feature.

My Canon inkjet printer is AWESOME. In the Maintenance section, it has a Cleaning, Deep Cleaning, Nozzle Check and Print Alignment page.

Good luck and Happy Computing!

It will depend on the brand and model of the printer!
