I have relatives coming over from america, unfortunataly my wife has broken her shoulder last night so cooking is out for this year, hence the question......

They are arriving tomorrow and were looking forward to christmas with us, they have said they will cook, but they are guests, it would be easier to take them out for christmas lunch or dinner? Any suggestions? Other dinners while they are here for a week will be at restaurants

it's not where's open it's where there's space! And it's costly! Claridges (Gordon Ramsey cooking?), Lanesborough and both the Savoy Grill and Park Lane are open for business on the 25th and the Chop House at Butlers Wharf - which I can recommend for both food and the view of Tower Bridge from the windows! Know SOME Cafe Rouge eateries are open!

Gordon Ramsay On Royal Hospital Road
Although not cheap (expect to pay around £60 per person for dinner), it is highly rated and has many customers returning time after time. A bottle of house wine costs £18.
i think they serve good xmas dinners

London, Ontario, Canada?

You be a big boy and cook, your wife can instruct- My 13 year old is doing the whole meal for his school cooking class, take the challenge- or are you afraid a 13 year old will do better than you? He is fixing an appetizer, ham roll ups, pork tenderloin, squash, green beans, salad, cheesy potatoes and a fruit cobbler.

Why don't you all cook together? Your wife could sit and tell everyone what to do and you could all drink wine. I hope your wife's shoulder is better soon.
