Politicians & Govt Employees Arrogance inversely related to competence?

Has anyone out there had any experiences in finding that the more arrogant some politicians and definitely government workers are that the more incompetent they tend to be?

Yes. I think that works for people in general, not just politicians and government employees. Their arrogance is a way to cover for their incompetence.

I notice it with people who always say they are so "busy" too...they're usually the people who do nothing or who are just really poor at time management. Even when they are "busy", they're never seem to be doing anything meaningful.
