It doesn't hurt real bad and it also depends on your pain threshold and also what type of tooth extraction you had, mine was a simple one. Some people will have swelling in theirs cheeks. I had a kind of ache and soreness the day after that was worsened by eating soild foods. Most people I know who had wisdom teeth removed were given pain meds to take home... I think I was given percocette

It depends on whether or not your wisdom teeth are impacted. 2 of mine were and it was no picnic.
Thankfully, I had pain meds to take for a few days and I had a fair amount of bruising and swelling.
You'll get through it :) Just be mindful of what your dentist/oral surgeon tells you in regards to taking care of the area and keeping it clean. You do not want an infection.
Best of luck!

Yes, it does hurt, but they do give you something for the pain, but if you buy a frosty or ice creams and start to eat right after it keeps the swelling down and that in turn affects the amount of pain. But, do not use a straw, only a spoon the sucking will affect your mouth.

I had mine out 20 years ago and it was a piece of cake. I remember sleeping a lot, not having much pain, and having a relaxing couple of days.

Good luck.

It's not the worst feeling in the world, but is by no means pleasant. Be careful of infections. Take care of what the doctor says.

Some people have lots of trouble with them. Especially if the roots were curled upwards.

Not as soon as you get them done because it's frozen, but the next day isn't a ball of fun.

No, mine didn't. I feared the pain much more than the amount of discomfort that I actually had.
