The ASCII table is a numeric assignment to a particular character.

A capital 'A' is assigned to the number 65 and a small case 'a' is assigned to 97

Most programmers would assume that you are asking to see a list of these assignments (see link) . These are hard coded into the OS and there would be no reason to assignthem to your project file.

However FONTS are another matter. Fonts are the graphic representation of characters to be drawn on the screen. Fonts are based upon ASCII codes since you want a picture of an 'A' to apear on the screen (65)

It is possible to have FONTs installed with your program especially if the programmer want to use a special font which would not otherwise be available.... A special FONT could even rplace the letter drawings with other pictures (space ships ect... )
