ABSOLUTELY NOTHING GREAT. Please LISTEN TO YOUR BODY. First it's your stomach and pretty soon it's headaches you wont get rid of (physical signs it's more than just depression), you probably just need good talk therapy sessions to get stuff off your shoulders, a good diet, extra sleep and pampering, a change of enviroment: another job, another relationship/s. So called godless experts LOL dispensing meds THEY THEMSELVES WOULDNT TAKE,which needless to say they'll tell you when you can stop taking anything INDEFINITELY. Don't let these so-called experts control you. Get 2nd and 3rd opinions about WHY you should take ANY anti-depressants. After all, it's your life-body.

Zoloft did not make me sick. I thought it was a god send. It made me so much calmer and less likely to become upset and lash out. I enjoyed life more. I took it for twelve years. Now that I have just retired I have stopped taking it (for about 6 months now) and can see a difference but I wanted to see if I could get along without it without the stress of work. I stopped all my meds to see if I could cope. One reason because of the cost. Only time will tell. Taking with food would probably help with your sickness. I don't know why you are taking it but give it a shot it could change your life.

Make sure to eat it with a meal. You have to give these meds time to work. It usually takes 4-6 weeks for the full effect. make sure that you take it at the same time and with a meal to prevent stomach aches. That's just about with any meds. Lots of depressed people don't eat so that may be what the problem is. Don't just stop taking it or there will be a relapse.

It made me feel sick too. I think you should stop taking it...and to tell you the truth...it didn't make me feel any better. I switched to Paxil and it does a lot better than Zoloft does.

most medications they tell you too eat first and then take the medicane. Try eating first to see if that helps also if you just started the medication it takes 30 days for your system to adjust.

It will make you nauseated for the first 3-7 days....but then the nausea goes away. Stick with it....once the nausea goes away it is a great drug...I am on it and it helps me tremendously!
