I work there and at Burger king the amount of hours you get depends on whether your a good worker.Show up on time dont be calling in and if you want more hours offer to work weekends eithers opening early in the morning or closing at night. One thing I see alot of is people who are slackers wanting more hours as soon as the rush ends they are chilling ,gossiping ect.Wrong !people are watching what you do.Grab a broom clean the floor, wipe trays, restock your area with meat and frys in the kitchen and up front napkins and sauce, straws ,coffee creamer, Show you are interested in doing a good job take pride in your work and you will get more hours and be considered a valuable employee. You may think it doesnt matter because its just burger king but its a reference for other better jobs later in ljfe and beleive me if you were a slacker management will tell anyone that asks.Good luck. Also good workers rise fast and get raises at burger king in a matter of a few months so take it seriously management clears fat paychecks and support themselves decently.I love working there.

Ask your boss. It depends on how short they are on help, and on how well you're doing your job. There's no set answer to your question.

ask for as many hours as you can. its a fast food place. they really dont care about you...but...you shoud care about how many hours you get. ask for any shift and as many hours as you can get. your working and you should take that as far as you can. i think its cool that you have a job, and, that you care.
