Is there a more gentle pill than Glucophage that I can switch to? The Glugophage is 850 mg three times a day and three water pills 3 times a day along with two blood pressure pills. Without being to graphic, the Glucophage is not gentle for me. Thank you all I will contact my doctor Monday but want feedback from the people first thanks.

Thanks. It's really rough on me. I cannot leave the house at all! I'm afraid to take anymore.

As was mentioned, it takes some time to adjust to Glucophage. You may also want to ask your doctor about Glucophage XR, which is the same dose in an extended release form. The peak medication level won't be as high.

Did you just start this pill? If so, it will take 2 to 3 weeks for you to adjust to this.

I would stop the Glugophage and see your doctor.
