Personally, I like AOL AntiVirusShield. Don't let the name AOL scare you. AntiVirusShield is made by Kaspersky which is one of top-rated anti-virus vendors in the world.

In recent tests, the most popular free anti-virus, AVG, was only able to detect about 82% of a very large sample of viruses. On the other hand, AntiVirusShield was able to detect better than 99% in the same test.

AOL AntiVirusShield has excellent virus detection rates and is extremely light on using your computer resources. (6mb)

And it updates 15 to 20 times a day with new virus definitions, 7 days a week.

Free to anyone, AOL member or not from:

If you have detected the virus program using some virus removal program then that program itself is able to remove it otherwise it would not have detected it in the first place. But there are some general steps you have to follow before you can remove these worm programs. isass.exe is called W32.Bropia.M by Symantec. These steps are needed for any virus removal program to be effective.
-empty your browser cache, cookies and temp files, preferably using ccleaner, run the following two menus of ccleaner
(Options > Advanced > Uncheck the box before "Only delete files in windows temp folder older than 48 hours)
cleaner (select all options) > Analyze > Run Cleaner
Issues > Scan For Issues > Fix Selected Issues
http://bestofrest.blogspot.com/2006/11/ccleaner.html

-update your virus removal program
-disable system restore in ME or XP
-boot in safe mode
-run full virus scan and delete files detected as belonging to the worm/virus.
-delete keys written by the worm program to the registry. The list is given on the symantec link below.
-search and delete other files if not detected or removed by the virus removal program you are using. List is given on the symantec link below
-restart normally
-enable system restore if applicable

If you do not understand how to carry out each individual steps, you can read an explanation on the link below

Not sure how to remove the virus (try microsoft.com, they have some info on viruses) but for anti-virus programs I would advise NOT using any of the free ones of the internet. Often, the kind you get off the internet that say like "free trial" or "free scan" actually end up downloading viruses onto your computer in an attempt to convince you to buy the product.

This happened on my computer a little while ago: one of those free scans gave my computer viruses and then kept popping up saying "you have virusus. Buy the *virus program* to remove them". (I can't remember the actually name of the program it was trying to make me buy)
It's a scam to make you buy their products. I ended up having to reinstall my entire Windows XP system because it got so bad from those "free scans".

I'd suggest using McAfee for your anti-virus program. You can buy it at any electronic store (I think you can download it too...not sure) and it's about $60, but it's really worth it! I've had it for over a year now and my computer's been great, and usually my computer gets new viruses like every month and I end up having to reinstall it like twice a year, but that hasn't happened for a long time now.

I'd really recommend McAfee, it is a lot of money but I think it's worth it.
