Use a scan option to verify this aspects. If you do not have antivirius or anti spyware, insatll a standard antivirus soft ware such as Norton, AVG , Avast ( free antivirus software and Ad-aware, Ewido ( free spyware removers). You can download free softwares at
http://fixit.in/antivirus.html and http://fixit.in/spywareremover.html

I've seen the mouse cursor move to random areas throughout the screen in a choppy motion as I tried to point it elsewhere. I was told I was being tracked by a trojan and my husband did something to correct it. Sorry I don't know his solution. No more problems tho.

Go download "hijack this" its a free simple program that will scan your whole computer for weird stuff you may have picked up surfing. If you end up having stuff on your computer that you are having trouble getting rid of, download "Kill Box" it also is free and will remove pesky files that wont leave on their own.
BTW... Both programs are FREEWARE so all you have to do is google them to find the sites where you can download them.

might be spyware, not a trojan.
disabale mcafee (which by the way, loads on it's own viri just to keep itself in a job. their notorious for it!)
and try a different virus scanner. avg is free and decent.
or try any anti spyware. like no-adware, ad-aware,spyboy s&D.

dont worry, the pc will slow to a crawl or the trojan will announce itself by telling you its there and telling you a site to go to to remove it. dont go to the site. by a new anti virus.

ususally some antivirus programmes can miss some of those viruses. you can try using AVG antivirus. it has a higher detection rate and it's free.
