Changing your diet will cause changes in the way you feel. And just because you eat cottage cheese & yogurt doesn't mean you are eating healthy--many people consider these pasturized/homogenized foods to be unhealthy. I would recommend that you make sure you're eating enough food each day. I'm vegan and remember how I felt when cutting out meat years ago. You'll want to supplement some with some iron (probably ferrous sulfate) if tests show you're anemic. Fermented soy products (miso, tempeh) are best if you're looking for substitutes. Watch out for tofu/soymilk/soy protein isolate---these aren't healthy soy foods and are full of phytic acid (blocks mineral absorption), aluminum (mostly tofu here), and phyto-estrogens. Agribusiness has done a great deal of harm promoting these supposedly healthy meat alternatives--they use their leftover soy product after soybean oil manufacture to make these crap meat replacement products then have the audacity to say they're heart healthy. Wheat gluten is a good meat alternative, too. Best of luck.

If you have Gas Heat - there is a possibility that your gas furnace exhaust has a leak. Get it checked immediately
Very Serious.
If its electric heat, who knows.
After you have the furnace checked, invest in a carbon monoxide detector - they can be costly but what is more important, a life or a few extra dollars?

Sounds like your heater is faulty and you may be getting exposed to carbon monoxide. This is very dangerous and will kill you. Call a heating repairman and have him look at the furnace before you turn it on again.

Call a HVAC service repair person IMMEDIATELY. Keep it off until you have it serviced! That should never happen. Also, go see the Dr., as what you've described is not normal. Also, make certain your A/C filters are clean and changed on a reg. basis. Use only the good ones, they are more expensive, however worth it!

check for carbon monoxide--- we had that problem but we didn't figure out why we all felt bad until our poor parakeets died (they are very sensitive to c.m.) we called 911 right away and found a few leaks in our natural gas

If its gas or oil heat it could be carbon monoxide poisoning. Get it checked out before you check out.
