It certainly is. The UN is the antithesis of the US.
The most blatant example is the question of Rights? Where do you get your Rights? Most Americans really don't know, which goes to show how years of public education has dumbed us down.
If you read the Declaration of Independence, you will learn that we are "Endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness".
No other government in history ever started with the idea that we get our Rights from our Creator, and no legitimate government can take them away.
The UN, and countless other nations claim that they give Rights to their subjects, and if they can give those Rights, they can take them away. And, as in many other countries, the UN documents claim that we have this Right or that Right, which is always followed by "except as provided by law". or some such phrase. What this means is that you have the Rights, unless we enact a law that says you don't. Now, contrast that with the Bill of Rights. Amendments which start off' "Congress shall make no law...", put all the restrictions on government, not on the people.
The UN and the US are like night and day. The US (if we follow the Constitution) allows for a maximum amount of freedom. The UN is just one more oligarchy run by megalomaniacs and criminals. Make your choice. No man can serve two masters.

The States is the biggest funder to the UN. So that's like asking other people's kids if yours hate their parents. Moot point. It can't be anti-American. The people in the UN can be anti-American, but the UN itself is as american as they come. In its mechanisms and whatnot, its decisions and the policies the UN makes.

Yes they are, and I think it's time we booted them out and let the UN find free land in some other country.
PS - As a NY'er I'm also tired of all the UN staff cars being illegally parked all over Manhattan and refusing to pay the tickets. Tow 'em and crush 'em!

I would say that a segment governed by the third world dictators of the world are. They have a loud megaphone at the UN, so more of their views come through. The better question is "is the UN relevant anymore?". The "security council" is an absolute farce.

The UN can never be anti-American. America (Great Britain, France, Russia, and China as well) doesn't allow democracy in the UN.
America can veto any resolution.

There are people who always say, when you object to their behavior or their ideas, etc, that you are prejudiced against whatever their ethnicity is. So if a conference of countries, like the UN, doesn't do or say whatever the US wants it to do or say, some people complain "the UN is anti-American." The US tends not to play well with others.
