me and my ex broke up 10 months ago and we didn't talk at all for all of that time but recently we have been talking and having fun and then he admits to me that he still loves me and still wants me but he's in another relationship where he says he loves her to so he drags a mutual friend into the mix and tells her the exact same thing, what should i do about this?

If you loved yourself this wouldn't even be out there for a question to be answered. Look you are your own best friend and confidant so don't even give him a chance to tell you those things, tell him if he thinks your really that ignorant to try and make you believe those concocted made up ideas he is trying to in-plant in your head. Tell him your offended by his opinion of your intelligence.
Count on your intelligence and tell him to wear off.

There is no such thing as loving 2 people. That's a load of crock. If he loved you, he would be with you exclusively. If he loved her... he wouldn't be going behind his girlfriend's back to whisper sweet nothings in your ear. He is a player and a looser. Ultimately if you continue this relationship with your ex... you will be the "other girl." Who wants to be that? Don't be foolish. Be strong. There are so many good guys out there. Maybe you should let his new girlfriend know what kind of a guy he really is! Don't go for this Jerk... he had his chance and blew it.

It sounds like you ex isn't ready for a committed relationship or he'd be able to make a choice and limit his attentions to one person. I'd say the train has left the station and the best thing for you to do is keep your distance and don't engage in any discussions about getting back together or his feelings about the new girlfriend either.

You should stay away from this man, who clearly likes to play games with other people's emotions. He may still have things that he 'loves about you' but that is not love that holds a relationship together. He sounds like he has alot of maturing to do.

I've been in this situation before. Luckily for me both parties were ok with me seeing the other one so I had both of them to entertain. They didn't seem to care because the 3 of us kept it open. Only way this will work is if all parties involved know about the other person. Do not try to sneak around....it only makes it worse. Hope this helps.....a little at least.

He is a player... Hun don't fall for crap like that.. You both obviously broke up for some bad reason... What if he was with you saying the same thing to another girl? You could never trust him. Don't fall into him game.

I quess others are dense like me.
one or both of you ladies are fall backs. If he cannot score with her, he tries to woo you instead, and the other way around.
I really don't think any excuses he has, will have total truth in it.
I would send him down the road, and get some one else

dump him? this is an excuse to keep two women on the line. And be free to have both. Also he is showing you a pattern for his life if he thinks he can have both. Other choice would be make him decide but know he will do this again.

If he truely loves you, without a response from you he will leave the girl and come trying to win you back. To me it sounds like he is asking permission to be with you and her too...please dont allow it, you are better than that!

Give it time, time will tell if its true love. Be friends but let him decide what he wants. If he wants you then great if not move on and see if he is really the one for you.
