My guy and I have been dating for about two months. He doesn't want to say that we are in a relationship because we are still getting to know each other. I really like him and I know he cares about me. Would I be cheating on him if I dated another guy. I don't want to exclude my self from meeting other people just because he's not ready for a relationship.

Nothing but the best is good enough for you, but what you may not realize is that what someone's offering you is their best. Be kind and perceptive, or your high standards may transform into sheer snobbishness in this person's eyes.

I have gone through the same situation for 3 years with a guy. I was so confused but I went ahead and dated other guys because the guy I loved was not ready to commit. Go ahead and be free. Date other guys. If he really loves you he will come around eventually. Mine did because were married now!

Just give the guy time. Dont cheat on him. Two months isnt that long wait till 4 months if he doesnt define the relationship by then then move on. Good luck.

Good question, um, me being me and I'm very monogamous, I think you should meet other people, but if you like him and know he cares about you then maybe you shouldn't date anyone else, but still meet other people, are you talking about dating other people, is that what you meant by meeting other people? Then, I say no, if you like him and he likes you then honor that and don't be disrespectful and treat him like a piece of paper, trash, or dirt.

My general rule is this: He can take as long as he likes to decide if he wants to get serious or not. I don't have sex with anyone who is not my boyfriend. If we don't sleep together then I can date anyone, anytime.

Dating is the time to get to know people. Serious relationships are for a special few.

I did but I was very up front about it too. The guy changed his mind very quickly when I told him "there's NO ring on my finger" about if were a "couple" or not. We got married 6 months after that! lol Got a divorce 7 years after that! Good luck to you!

If he's not ready to be exclusive...then why not date other men? Maybe if he notices that you are dating more than just him...he'll realize that he does care about you and doesn't want to see you with other men. If he doesn't care...then he's probably not into you as much as you are into him.

If he's not making it exclusive then go ahead. It shows you have enough respect for yourself to not wait on someone.
