A bench warrant is a subpoena to appear in front of a judge. An arrest warrant is a subpoena to arrest you. If you ignore a bench warrant, you could get an arrest warrant.

a bench warrant the judge issues directly from the court room for a FTA . the arrest warrant is usally drawn up by law enforcement then approved by judge to do so

a bench warrant is issued when you failed to appear on a date that you promised to appear on,like when you receive a ticket your signature is that promise.this type of warrant is usually issued in court when the judge calls your case and you are not present.

an arrest warrant is when the D.A (district attorney) presents enough evidence to a judge, that he/she feels justified by law to issue an arrest warrant.then the D.A. usually take police to arrest you.
