What the police will do is go to the residence and file a reckless damage report. This is a ticket-able offense. It is done for statistical data only. Then the paperwork will be filed and that is it. Normally we will tell the victim to wash off the car before the eggs dry to avoid damage to the paint but without witnesses there is nothing the police can do. Don't worry about it and don't do it again.

Not a good idea. If i were you I would say nothing and move on with life. These days wrapping homes and egging cars is not considered kids stuff. It is a actual crime so never do anything like that again.
Just stay cool and keep to yourself and definately don't talk about it. It will soon fade away.

The cops aren't likely to call in a seven-man CSI team to get fingerprints off the egg shells, if that's what you are asking.
On the other hand, if someone tells them you did it, you'll likely get a knock on your door.

If she decides to press charges, an investigation will proceed. Since you're next door, they will come to ask if you say anything. If you act strange in any way they'll investigate, and don't think because they only talked to you for a few minutes, it means they don't think it's you. They'll be watching and so will your neighbor.

I would think if there was no damage. they won't look too hard. They may ask around the area to see if anyone saw something. but, that would be about it. as long as you don't talk about it. You shouldn't have anything to worrie about.

relax they will just chalk it up as juvenile nonsense. but they will keep a close watch for a while. so i suggest that you cook those eggs instead of throwing them.
