Yes they WILL KNOW. The old system of not checking people out no longer applies. You will be checked out as well as in. If you are on probation you may not be able to go abroad, at least not without permission and some guarantee that you will return. You are in effect serving a non-prison sentence and if you do not fulfil your side of the bargain, you could be sent to prison or have imposed upon you whatever sentence the judge at your trial decided to hand down. BEWARE they are watching you.

You better talk to your own probation officer & explain the situation. He will have the final say. If he does let you leave, have his permission in writing, so when you return, customs will know that you aren't a fugitive. If he denies permission, grin & bear it. Send the family a nice sympathy card, some flowers, & a donation to the loved one's favorite charity. When you come off of probation, then visit the family.

I doubt that they will know unless you get into to some type of trouble while you are gone. Airlines and TSA cannot run background checks on every traveler.
It's is likely against the terms of your probation for you to leave your state.
Your officer can give you a travel permit to leave your state, but he may not be able to give you permission to leave the country. I know I cannot in my state.
So, if you do, you are taking a chance, and only you know whether it's worth it.

You just gave your PO office the perfect time and opportunity to catch you violating parole. You can count on the PO you told telling your PO to check on you when you said the funeral was. I wouldn't leave without permission.

your probation officer can check up on you at any time and if you are not there and they can't find you then you can get in trouble for violation of probation you really need to ask your probation officer they might let you go but don't bet on it

If you are you are going out of Europe , they will scan your passport, but if your not, they won't bother. when I went to France, a couple of years ago, I even asked them to stamp mine but they wouldn't

Ya , when you do not show up for probation that month, and they start lookin for you.
If you are on felony, they can probably tell, if they run your name they can see that you are on prob. and if it's a felony I do not think they would let you leave.
Good luck.

it depends on what you were charged for. If it was something serious like murder, sex crimes then yes your passport will be flagged or if it states on your parol sheet you can't then it will be flagged otherwise it will not.
