Thats about the same as asking is it silly to tell ur wife u love her?
Me and my girlfriend send texts like that when were out or apart, as were in long distance relationship atm. Sometimes when she's at work i send her a romantic text to let her know im thinking about her, also that im missing her and tell her how much i love her. She also does the same at times when im out at work and its really sweet to have a message from my gf saying she's missing me and that she loves me, it really makes my day and i have a huge smile afterwards and it makes the time till were together again go quicker. I say text her to say that u love her, im sure it will brighten her day at work and make it nicer for her. take care

I think it is sweet. A women always likes a little romance but i must warn you she might start to expect it from you and if you just stop it might cause a problem. I do this with my husband but our situation is a tad bit different he is not home he is serving in the army and is currently in iraq. but i send him emails like this all the time letting him know i am thinking of him and miss him. I couldnt do that for a few weeks (internet problems and getting caught up with other things) and he did get upset. about it and thought seriously that something had changed in our relationship.

no, don't think that for a minute. Most women are romantics and love that kind of stuff. Probably don't want to do it everyday though, then she may just start to take advantage of it, and it will lose it's "special"-ness. (is that a word?)

No, it is a very romantic thing to do! If she is having a bad day at work and she reads that message that you sent her and it just says "i love you" it will cheer her up! It really is a very nice thing to do!

Little love notes, telephone calls, etc. have always been romantic and in fashion. Do you have a brother.... maybe around 50, who thinks like you do? :o)
