I saw it on an episode of Law & Order. This girl had a ringtone that her mother couldn't hear because of it's pitch. Given the show's history of product plugging (iPods, Blackberries, Razor Phones), i figured that they must exist. Can you tell me what they're called and if possible, where to buy them?

yes actually there is it is called mosquito if you search on any hone that will allow you to buy ringtones should have it. But it doesn't always work some older people can hear it. It is just harder for them plus there are different kinds of mosquito. for instance my mom could hear mosquito 2 and 3 but not 1 and 4. It is good though for your ringtone in class. All the kids turn around but the teacher can't figure out wat is going on.

sure there are ringtones like that. that is because of the fact the ringtone pitch is so extreme, and while your listening to decreases as you become older, so as that's why they say basically youthful ppl pays attention it, however I enormously doubt that that is assured that an older guy or woman does not pay attention it. i don't have a cellular, so i'm uncertain the place you may get the tone at. i've got considered a commercial on television for it, can not bear in mind the enterprise, however. do purely a seek on 'silent ringtone' and spot what you arise with.

Yes, there is. I heard they use it in front of buildings that they do not want kids to congregate in front of.
