On all the talk shows people are saying we need to talk about the racisim. I understand that problems do not get solved by being quiet about them, But it's a friggin' "talk show" How do you think talking about racisim will help all races?

Yeah, there seems to be alot of "talking" but no action going around about racism. I think racism is one of those things, unfortunately, that will not go away.
Reason I say that is because its a trend that is going around. We are not stopping it ourselves, therefore whenever we have kids, we pass it on to the kids, they pass it on to their kids, etc......It sucks

It won't. It's not about talking, its about action and progress. If racism is to be aleiviated, parents should stop shoving their racist philosophies down childrens throats. People shouldn't breed hate based on their narrow experience with other races. People should learn respect and practice it. Talking does not do those things, and even if we do, I doubt racism will end any time soon.

Talking about anything can help. It's opens up the discussion to present ideas that may not have been widely and openly discussed. And television is a great forum for that. It reaches a lot of people.
I think every little bit helps.

i'm sure that this racism problem isn't going to end by talking about it. The people who choose to be racist probably will never change their minds about who and why they hate others. They are wasting their time

I agree action speaks louder than words-it's not ok and just talk isn't going to change anything-do the talk show host really care or or they in it just for the money

Am black, and i will say that not one particular race is a racist, there are white racist and there are black who are racist , so it goes both ways, and those on talk shows aint nothing but droollers
