If your "bf" can be an adult and not a child, he would realize that there's nothing wrong with it. Yes, it can be a little messy, but if he loves you, that should not be an issue. Women are sexy EVERY day of the month and making love to the person you love is truly a gift. Maybe he is not in "love", or maybe it just affects him in a negative way that he can't handle. If that's the case, it's his problem. Too bad for you. If you're serious about him....if you love him...if he's "all that"... then suggest counseling. Not just for the sex issue, but because you need to know if he's Mr. Right. By the way, I'm a man.....and I don't mind cleaning up after being with the one I love!

That nonsense about a woman being unclean is crap!
Can't think of a direct website, but the topic has probably been covered by womens' magazines. Try looking through the archives of articles at Cosmopolitan or even Health.
You gotta remember that there really is no such thing as "normal" when it comes to sexual preferences. It's all relative to your partner, your experiences, there are just too many variables for "normal" to apply. If I had to venture a guess at the "average" I would say that most couples don't, but that doesn't mean they haven't tried it. Even those that generally don't will bend the rules every now and then, and vice versa.

This is more a personal choice a woman is considered unclean during her period and quite often in a bad mood so most men leave them alone at that time if he feels this way then just accept it for heavens sake you have the rest of the month is that not enough?

I know during period , most women experience the increase urge.
But to have sex during period, for me is not appropriate activity.
Just imaging while penis thrust in and out of vagina, suddenly the blood come out.
And remember period's blood is a toxic.

its not a case of being average or not average or normal or not normal.......its who the person/people are and how they feel at that point in time...........if he is not comfortable with it and you are , then where do you stand?? should you find another bf or do you love him enough to look over the yucky he feels when you are on your period??? its up to you guys......who cares what others do.

Although there is nothing wrong with sex during your period, I became pregnant TWICE while having sex during that time.
You CAN get pregnant during this time, so beware.

My advise do it in the shower, that way its not messy and i think that is probably why your boyfriend doesn't want to do it. I think you are both normal as sex is really based on preferences.
