You will still think of your ex 20-50 years from now, he became apart of your life when you married him and hes stuck to your memory because of your child.
Dont worry about thinking about your ex, its normal because you once shared a big part of your life with him once upon a time, it doesnt mean you're still in love with him, all it means is that you're still human.
By the way you worded your problem it seems like you feel the reason why you're arguing with your bf is because of your ex, well it isnt, its because of you.
You need to have communication with your bf, tell him how your feeling about your relationship and what you want out of it but also ask your bf what his expectations are too and his feelings.
If you are feeling like you still have some sort of attraction with your ex then bite the problem on the bum, realise that you ended the marriage for a reason.

I'll feel that your current b/f love towards you is worst off than your ex hubby that why you keep recalling your ex hubby. Is normal and usual, the only solution is that you leave or dump your current b/f and go for a better man. Hopefully, the next man will provide you with better love and care than your current b/f and your ex hubby. Then, you will not recall them anymore.

Personally I feel that you are comparing your ex husband and your current bf. You could be comparing them in terms of their characters, behaviour and how they treat you etc. Well I feel that if this is the case, it is not advisable for you to have a bf at this moment coz everybody is different and you can't force someone to change himself to suit you

It's ok to think of him. Hopefully you are thinking of the things you learned about arguing from your arguments with him. It's ok to do that. Just don't punish your new BF for mistakes your husband made.
