if your going thruogh alot of things its best to probally not have a bf because you might say something or he might sometime you have to be alone when your going throught things but dont feel bad if he was anygood guy that liked you he will understand that you needed time for your self and didnt want to deal with anyone you should still talk to him and everything if u still wish him to be your friend and then when everything cools down explain it to him and if u want him back explain it him and get back together but dont do it because of guilt cause that wont be good for either of you

Ok first of all starting a sentence with "like" is just WRONG!
You need to talk to him, but first you need to figure out EXACTLY what you feel for him so that you are not messing with his head. Do you love him romantically or just as a friend? Don't rush into it... take some time and really think about it.
Once you figure it out then spend some time talking to him and see if you are both on the same page as far as what you want for a relationship. Keep in mind if you've already broken up then there is a chance he may not want you back.

Hey i just wanna say i relate to you totally coz i did the same thing this week! My bf was doing things that weren't making me happy but i had to end it coz he didn't want to commit to my Christian faith and to me that's important. i put God first in life but he didn't understand and took it the wrong way. i still love him but we were going in different directions. Why dont you have a little chat with him. How long ago was this? say what's on ur mind etc. If he's decent he will try to understand i'm sure. why didn't you wanna be with him anyway? talk, let it all out and have some time to yourself to really know what you feel for him. hope all works out.Blessings xx

If you just broke up without explaining why, you were wrong, and must go back and explain your actions to him, if he is worth his salt, he will understand. If he does not , or won't , understand, what are the chances of a successful relationship further on in life ?
After explaining to him, you both can decide if what you do after that is the right thing to do, for example - decide on how much time you need to sort yourself out.
While you are sorting yourself out, he will surely check on you , to see how and what you are doing.

If you want to get back with him, explain why you broke up with him in the first place and let him know that if times get rough again, you'll talk to him about it before breaking up with him.
If you still need your space, ask him to wait. If he does, great. If he doesn't, you might of broken up with him for better reasons then you think.
Hope everything works out for you.

Then explain it to him what happened and ask if he still wants to go out with you or not, if he really cares about you then he will probably say yes.

You should have kept him to help you deal with the problems. You shouldn't give him the boot if it's not his fault. If you truly love someone, no matter what, you wouldn't let them go.
