nicotine is a stimulant and could theoretically act as a laxative. Also, many people who quit smoking experience diarrhea because they chew sugarless gum which has an ingredient that also acts as a stool softener.

I notice when I smoke first thing in the morning I go to the bathroom asap afterwords. I've talked with a few other people who say the same thing, and some say this happens periodically throughout the day after a cigarette.

Nicotine affects your whole body, and certainly is effective to your veins. It narrows them. It is very, very unhealthy to smoke for a variety of reasons. It also destroys oxygen your system needs. Cardio- vascular disease is rife in smokers.

Give up smoking. It is not worth it, and you can do it.
