The concept of destiny is where you are expected to meet your potential. The secret that nobody tells us is you have to work toward it. Destiny does not come to you, you have to earn it.
I've had to learn this later in life than I should have. Please don't make the same mistake I did. You can start the road to your destiny as early as you like.

Destiny is something that's going to happen to you no matter what you do. The only thing that’s sure in life is death. Thinking of it this way... It's your destiny to die (LOL) so I'd say no. Destiny is just a nice way of saying that something happened that you had no control over, wait for it if you want but life will be passing you by!

find a guy u like and ask him out or just wait until the right one comes and asks u out and see if he is the one
Find a guy, who calls you beautiful instead of hot,
Who calls you back when you hang up on him?
Who will stay awake just to watch you sleep?
Wait for the guy, who kisses your forehead,
Who wants to show you off to the world when you are in your sweats,
who holds your hand in front of his friends,
Wait for the one who is constantly reminding you of how much he cares about you and how lucky he is to have you.
