you could just ask her how she doing tonight and if she feels like talking she will...........
or..............
say "hey, ya wanna dance?" if she says "no, i dont want to dance" say, "no, i said you look fat in those pants!"

Whatever you do, don't say anything that sounds like a line! We hate that crap! You could simply laugh at loud at something on the computer. That may get her attention. Hell, it may even start a conversation. I've met people that way; by relating something I've just read or seen. You could ask her the time, saying you aren't sure whether your computer or watch are wrong, because one is. I know it sounds lame, but it does work. It's an ice breaker and you may be able to say something else ina minute or two. Maybe you can give her a compliment? Good luck!

well if you have a computer with you, which i assume you do since you're posting the question here, just suddenly look frustrated and pretend your computer crashed and you lost something you were working on... say sth to the computer like "oh nooo! come back! come back!" that will get her attention, then try to get a conversation started with sth like "don't you hate when computers do this? did this ever happen to you?" but don't sound cranky or anything, be in a good mood... hope this helps

Ask her if you can buy her a second cup of coffee. Then talk about something that she is reading, something you are reading, weather, any small talk will get the conversation started.

Just chat her up ... ask her a regular question. "What are you drinking? I always get this and I'm tired of it but I don't know all the 'cool' drinks or whatever."
