It's just one of those things. Be proud of it. Long after your dad is gone, you'll do things that remind you of him. It's just one way you'll always be connected to him.

Sorry to say, you can't. I know, I have mannerisms like my mom and I can't . It is not really a bad thing. If it is only the way you move your arms or body, that is not a bad thing. If there is something in their personality that you don't like and you do it anyway, well then that is something you can work on. Just try to catch yourself when you are doing it and stop. Other than that, enjoy the special person you are within yourself.

You really can't. Somethings we pick up subconsciously in our childhood from our parents modeling different behaviors. Besides, is your father that bad of a person that you don't want to be anything like him? However, you probably need to deal with it. Like it or not you ARE his offspring and he helped raise you. If you are that concerned about it or his mannerisms harm you or others, I would consult a counselor. Such behavior can be changed with strong cognitive therapy.

You'd just have to make an effort to change your ways. After being around someone so long, we tend to pick things up from them.

Wear a rubberband on your wrist. Every time you catch yourself doing something you don't like, give it a snap.

It's genetic, you are stuck with it. One day, you will be glad of it.
