How is it that a US Citizen who defended this country is treated like crap and an illegal and legal immigrants get treated like gold.

last_defender , I am that veteran, and I am using my GI Bill money, But a $1075 a month is not a enough. I should be able to use my G.I Bill money for what ever schooling I want ,But it as has to be VA approved only. It is stupid.

Not the country, but maybe start from scratch with politicians. I say we kick them all out and put people who actually care for the US and her CITIZENS in charge!!

Hey spyderman, I understand your frustration. Wages are dropping, and illegals will work for less than citizens, back before the free trade agreement our jobs were safe. With free trade, the jobs left, now we're scrambling for jobs we might have turned our noses up at ten years ago. That's the trouble with unskilled work, anyone can literally do it, so they'll give the job to the guy that will work the hardest for the least money. Guess who that is?
Chasing the illegals out isn't going to solve our problems. Our country was rich, and we've become accustomed to being proportionately rich compared with the rest of the world. Wages are seeking their natural level now worldwide; and like a liquid, it will seek the lowest level.
Tell your Veteran to friend to make use of those VA benefits and get an education.

What we need is for the moderate majority to stop being apathetic to our rights and stand up to the conservative Christian republicans and the liberal elitist democrats. Neither party cares about the working class anymore.
As for legal immigrants being treated like gold, they don't have nearly the perks you might think. My husband is from the U.K and CHOSE to come to this country, legally. He pays tons of money for visas and green cards (not to mention all the damn paperwork) and only has half the rights that I do...or an illegal does, apparently. The government is much harder on him than on the ones jumping the border. Besides, legal immigration is what this country is built on.

What we ned to do is put heavy fines on businesses that employ illegals and land lords who rent to them. If you were to allow citizens to collect a percentage of that fine for filing a valid "I know a business that is hiring illegals" complaint then this problem would disappear almost over night. Unfortunatly our "elected representatives" have a vested interest in allowing the illegals to be here, namely the big companies that benefit from the presence of illegals give healthy checks to our politicians and buy their votes in the legalized system of bribery that is our flawed governemntal system.

i trust that each and each and every situation in this united states needs to be began yet yet again from scratch, oftentimes the tax gadget and the justice gadget, yet i don't believe of killing my acquaintances, kinfolk and countrymen is a great way of going about this. even even with the truth that this so called president have given most of the human beings battling us a good reason to. after we blow up a wedding ceremony reception, or rape thier wifes and daughters, or make 2 adult males suck one yet another sexually like we've, we make anybody who's iraqi have all those motives to opt to strive against us to the lack of life. If iraq invaded us after we were doing okay, announcing that each and every thing became going to be golden in some months, and then after 4 years of dealing with a living Sh*thole issues are in common words getting worse, does no longer you strive against to the lack of life for each and each and every of the injustice that became done for your friends and kinfolk or perhaps your self?

Maybe if US citizens treated others (immigrants and illegal or otherwise) as they wanted to be treated, no one would be treated badly, you hear what I'm saying?
It's a basic lesson from kindergarten. Treat others as you want to be treated.
Quit complaining about them, and try to get to know them. Realize that they need just as much help in this country as you do, and it's not them causing you problems it's your government and maybe you could work together to make it better for everyone.
I know I live in a fantasy world sometimes and there will always be ignorant people like you out there.
I'm so sick of these questions. Get over it, the world is growing smaller by the second, we will all have to get along with each other no matter what race, religion, sexual preference we are because we need each other to make the world work properly.
Good luck with your thinking, you will be one of the first to be ostracized.
