I have my doubts that he is already married in Pakistan. We live together we have home phone cell phone.Yet he still choses go behind my back and use payphone none of his family have our phone numbers where he can be reached.He claims it just a time factor is all. Even had he called from home i wouldnt understand for i am native canadian.So makes me wonder if he calling his wife. Of course he wont admit for he know want hurt me.Can anyone direct me to where i could find out. I want to avoid a costly mistake of marrying his a$$

Darling, he's probably not going to marry you. He's keeping you a secret from everyone, and he's keeping secrets from you. A Pakistani man is not likely to marry a woman who has lived with a man before marriage, nor is he likely to marry a non Muslim. I'm sorry hun, I think he's just using you. He doesn't respect you.

While it is still warm outside, go buy some tall candles (cintronella bamboo sticks or something) and set them up in a park right before dark. Get some pretty stationery and write a more romantic version of what you told us and why you feel the need to propose? Get dressed really sprucy and take her to the park. Light the candles, read your romantic lines, drop to one knee and ask her to be your woman forever, your earth, your day, your night, your princess, your lover, your queen for life, your WIFE. Walk together into eternal bliss. That would be so so nice, especially if you find the right park. Did you give her a ring? You're such a sweetie!

I also married a pakistani but i never had this problem....he'd call his family and would hand me the telephone so i could at least say Hi....
when he calls his family tell him you just wanna say Hi or Assalam mualekum (as they say) and if he refuses,or If he's so misterious then yeah, he's probably married (they're all married back there and just want some "companion")

If you feel that way then don't marry him untill he comes clean with you. Put your foot down and tell him that you want him to call his homeland for your home phone, no matter what the cost, and if he is still dodging the subject you just got your answer
