My daughter bumped the garage door when pulling into the garage and indoing so scraped the door frame which is white paint. How can I get it off without repainting the fender??

You can get a rubbing or buffing compound... it actually may come off with a buffer and a little Turtle Wax.

Try buffing it with a soft sponge. If that doesn't work try an electric buffer or really high grit sandpaper (the higher the grit, the finer the sand) The sandpaper will help get the white paint off.

Do NOT use a doobe as someone else says, It will scratch the paint.
Try some clay or a mild paint cleaner such as Meguiar's Scratch X. They also sell a clay kit you can use. Go to www.meguiars.com for more information in the how to section.

Try a Dobie. It is a sponge filled pastic net used to clean dinner plates. YOu will find it in the cleaning isle of your grocery store. It shuld scratch off the paint with out harming the paint job underneath.
