Time will tell we have a lot of brave young men fighting for us right now and they keep volunteering so they is hope. I am afraid every generation have the appeasers peace at any price crowd. Before our involvement in WW2 there were a good segment of American society a peace movement that did not want us to get involve they said it was none of our business, so what you see today is not abnormal there will always be appeasers but we can only hope their affect will not cripple this nation.

well you certainly have a way with words. I think the greatest generation has to do with many things, in terms mostly of moral character, family-centric growth, and the entrpreneurship/business building dedication of the WWII generation, not just the warrior part of that generation's history. So if you look at those factors....it's a little scary in terms of the younger generation because the younger generations are much more "it's all about ME".... most of them (again, I say "most") would think it was stupid to sacrifice your life for an ideal....whereas the WWII generation did not think it was stupid. The WWII generation also thought service to the country was a high ideal...nowadays people think mostly losers join in service to the country, with the exception of how the top pilots, commanders are viewed. I don't share those views...but see them echoed about here and there.

I would hope not, as far as I am concerned the US is the strongest regime of all history and does not surrender for long. You have to remember that our enemies whoever and whatever race they may be might be considered as the weakest ones as they are the ones trying to look for revenge with the wrong citizens. I hope that we are thought of as the strongest power humankind has ever had.

The younger generations raised on Political Correctness and consisting of a good many spoiled brats will likely be known as the "Lost Generation."

SO yeah you are the weakest link, as is the rest of your hawkish buddies who only come on when schools out and have no idea of what the real world is
