My co-worker cheated because his wife stopped having sex. She now wants 50% of his stuff.

like I told my wife, if you leave you get only what you came in with, nothing else, women should work for their possesions, not take ours.

There are two sides to every story. You can't always believe what someone tells you. There might be a good reason why his wife stop having sex....just maybe it was because he was cheating. There could be a lot of reasons and that might not even be true. Depending on how long she has been married and put of with his butt, maybe she is entitled to 50% or at least something.

HiKeith, If they have been marry at least 10 years, yes she is in titled to 50% of everything. I know this for a fact. I myself i'm going threw a divorce. I get 50% of everything. I should get more,after 30 years of abuse. Don't be quick to judge,there is aways 2 sides of a story.

Well it is a marriage. It sure sounds to me like you are blaming her. It's never alright to cheat.
You made the committment. Follow it or get out. But get out before you cheat. That is just wrong.
A relationship takes two to make it. I can think of many reasons that she didn't want to have sex with him. Women are different than men. They need to feel emotionally close.
She deserves half of what they acquired in the marriage. Without her, he wouldn't have it either.

When your in a marriage you are both responsible for bills credit cards etc.What if your friend was impotent. Would it be okay for her to cheat??What is it about people that will sell themselves so cheap for a piece of bootie. A 1 minute orgasm for a broken marriage..no woman is worth that.....but he played....he pays 50%

He agreed to marrying her knowing the laws.He should have found a different alternative to cheating like trying to find out why she didn't want him.I think she should get half.

It depends on how long they are married on how much she would get. She only wants half because he pissed her off. Not all women are like that though.

Personally, if he cheated (regardless of the reason), I think she should get 100% of the stuff. He should be glad that adultery isn't cause for divorce anymore . . .
