If it has been pasteurized then no. The natural yeasts are destroyed during the pasteurization. Pure apple juice or cider CAN but most likely will go to vinegar. I ferment unpasteurized cider, a bit of clover honey and some brown sugar to make some very impressive hard cider that is sweet and has good abv.

Although apple juice can technically be turned into alcohol, all an unopened and unrefrigerated bottle of apple juice is going to get you is seriously spoiled apple juice. I wouldn't drink it!

Yes if it ferments. We bought grapejuice from the grocery store once that had been on the shelf too long and the sugars had started to ferment in the bottle. It wasn't alcoholic, but it tasted pretty awful.

Yep-
We had squirrels when we were growing up that would eat our neighbors rotting apples from his tree and they would get intoxicated...it was hilarious.
