What would you do if you saw a Guy hit a Chick?

I'd probably pound him to the ground, why don't some guys understand that you cannot be hitting Chicks, they are weak and defensless, though some seem to deserve it, but it's still not right. Kind of like a big guy kicking a puppy.

I usually try not to interfere in people's business, but if I saw something like that, I would have to step up to the plate.

Exactly what I've done at least once while walking and spotting such a scenario. March right across the street and use this lovely martial art technic where if you're strong enough, before they know it you have one hand firmly circling the trachea and another hand burried under a rib or two, literally holding it in your hand. The pain and shock of that is enough to freeze anybody, and calmly informing the guy that all you have to do is squeeze a little harder and then rip out your hands with enough force that you can break his windpipe and do some really nasty damage by breaking a rib or more outward.

I've stepped in several times when I see the hitting happen, though none required anything as extreme as above. If you're in a bad part of town and/or there are a lot of extended family and friends joining in the fracas at least verbally if nothing else, time to call the cops.

The one sad and important thing to remember and keep a guard up for: unfortunately a lot of these beaten women will actively attack you no matter how hard they've just been slugged by a guy. You could be simply suggesting to calm down to the guy and suddenly you have a psycho harridan on your back screaming about leaving her man alone and minding your own business, all while pulling out clumps of hair, scratching at your face and so one.

As to your question of guys not understanding that it's NOT okay hitting chicks, a lot of them grew up in a household where that was a norm - not an excuse, but an insight. Plus the women themselves who get in these relationships and allow the battering or even just vocal abuse and meekly accepting it (with certain exceptions), have their own blame via enabling. They may no bear as much of the fault as the guys abusing them, but they do have some responsibility on allowing beatings, particularly in public where there will often be people who will try to help.

What? Some of those same chicks would beat you up, buddy. Now, if he was just beating someone up for no reason (chick or not), I would try to stop the fight. But I'm not one of those people who buys into that nonsense that men should NEVER hit women. Self-defense is a perfectly valid reason to hit anyone. In case you haven't noticed, you have a big bullseye between your legs for angry girls. And nobody deserves that kind of attack for just making someone angry. I would defend myself brutally if attacked at that spot no matter who's doing the violence. There just isn't any reason for that kind of nonsense when everyone knows better than to do it. I probably wouldn't stand by and get slapped by a girl who was angry at me either. I will not stand for that kind of disrespect from anyone, whether they are male or female. Have a nice day!

WOMEN are not weak and defenseless. My karate class is about two-thirds female, and we know how to kick some male a-ss. If I saw a guy hit a woman, I'd washi-keri (roundhouse kick) him in a way he'd never forget.

watch it with the weak and defenseless crap!
if I had my husky with me, she'd take care of the problem, lets just say she's given a couple of guys a special kind of vasectomy (both times she was defending me, 1 time was an attempted rape and the other time, a guy who was attempting to steal my purse punched me in the face)
I'd try to get the girl out of the situation if she wants help, but you can't help everyone, some women don't want help, for them, I pray
