i have that same problem.....whenever he looks at me i quickley turn away or flash a smile.
we're both so shy around each other....
so what i suggest is just SMILE AND BE FRIENDLY! works like a charm
take it slow, and first get to know him a bit. :] that's what i'll do if i were you ^_^

Try to make eye contact and smile. It's a good start and if you are feelinf confident try to walk up and say hello.
Maybe you are a little shy and the idea takes your breath away so just think of it like this.
You have nothing gained at this point so nothing to loose so why not give it a shot.
If you don't try you will never know what might have been.

Haha, I know what you mean. I'll glance around the room and he'll be like looking my way, but he's nearsighted so I can't tell if he needs [stronger] glasses or he's actually leering at me. Sometimes I'll smile and/or wave, but the best part is we're friends too so it just seems like I'm being friendly :) lol
So anyways, smile and say hi and be lighthearted about it. Don't get flustered that makes it all the more obvious you like him but too shy to say anything. Hope I could help!!

First practice what your going to do in front of a mirror. Then tell your friends about your situation and tell them what your going to do this time when he looks at you. (My advise is to smile sweetly or look at him IN THE EYES so he will notice you more.) Ask your friends if that looks good or do you think you should do that or something and the will prob give you more advise so you don't look like a complete idiot doing it. Good Luck.
