I want my walls mint colored and my floor and drapes brown.

Sounds like a really cute idea.
Semi gloss paint on the walls, brown trim. If it is a bedroom, get a green bed spread and brown accent pillows, and a brown area rug. Well the area rug would work well anywhere, but a few small ones in a bedroom would look awesome.

oooh good idea! I think that would be nice paired with, like a lady above me said, maybe blush or mauve colored accents, and maybe some polka dotted throw pillows or window valances. A rug in the center, probably, would be a nice splash of color. I would probably say a rose toned color. A French Blue color might also work quite nicely. Good luck on the room!

I like the idea if you do it in a sophisticated way. Use a flat paint, minimal accents, and go to Target or something to get your bedding.

you can add a creamy white/off white to it or if you want to throw a little color a soft rosey pink/mauve ish here and there
