Just another theory that people make up. There are viruses everywere you go. Almost every person connected to the internet (yes, even those with anti-virus software) have some form of spyware/virus/trojan/keylogger on their computer. Someone can't attack you by simply logging in unless they had complete access to all of the databases that run MySpace and unlimited FTP access to be able to attack you when you simply login. All I have to say is that don't be afraid to login to something because of a virus. The people that say they got a virus from myspace probably got it from the *orn site they looked at the day before or an e-mail they didn't know who was from. Just keep you anti-virus software up to date, don't listen to people talking about viruses who have no idea what they're talking about, and yes do be cautios with who you affiliate with on any site, that is how you most likely will get a virus.

There is a virus that involves your quicktime video player. If you log into myspace you will have an alert from 'tom' and you can download a patch to fix any problems.

There isn't a "massive virus" on myspace. But you can get infected by various malware by downloading files listed on people's myspace pages.

You should change your password now, and about every 60 days you should change it to keep hackers away from your account.
