I have to write a 5 page college paper about purchasing a new computer and I don't know much about them. Does anyone have any ideas, or can help me get started?! Thank you

Well, first you need to know who is using it and what is the main purpose of the system. For example, if it is a student and love to play games, then he would need a computer with a fast processor, high ram and a good video card.

Your question is so broad, there is no right answer. It all depends on what you need the computer for. Graphics, games and stuff like that, you want a big procesor, lots of ram, big video card, sound card and higher than normal bus speed.

Well to start with, people need to know what they want from there computer, e.g. Media on demand, High-End-Gaming etc.
