I reformatted my computer a couple times and now during the bootup, I'm taken to a screen where I have to scroll up or down and choose which Operating System to start in. Does anyone know how to fix this so that the computer starts up normally?

Right click 'my computer icon' > properties > advance tab > in the startup and recovery section, click the 'settings' button.

You can now disable the display for selecting the OS to boot. You can also click the 'edit' button and clear out the OS. Becareful to clear the correct one or you will have problems reverting an bootfile.

Go Start > Run > type "msconfig" > go to the BOOT.INI tab and remove the offending entries. You can change the timeout to a couple seconds too. Make sure you know what you're doing.

c:\boot.ini

There should be two identical lines, delete the second one.

Or change your timeout to 0sec.

Make a backup of thise file on a disc incase you need to restore it.
