I am trying to install a new virus program on my computer and it will not let me finish installing it??

Possibly because the old virus program won't let it. It might see it as a virus. Uninstall the old virus program first then try it again.

I'm assuming that you mean a "virus scanning program".
If you already have a virus scanner installed, you must uninstall it before attempting to install another or different program.
Two scanners will conflict with one another, therefore causing problems installing! Make sure you are not connected to the internet when you install. Your best bet is to install in "safe mode".

You have to disable older version before installing new one.If you plan on useing both don't they will not run properly with two.You can also remove older virus tool first.
