A nickname should come from something that happened between the two of you or something he does that you think is cute. Anyone can tell you to call him Pookie or cuddle bear, but it doesn't mean anything to either of you. Just live and be happy. Don't try to plan every detail.

I call my boyfriend BabyCakes or Pumpkin.....really normal, but he loves it....shows him that its just something between him and I .....and if you give him one of these cutsie nicknames, dont say it around his friends.....
