Don't try to read more into it than it means. It is simply a compliment on how you smell, whether it's your perfume , or your natural odor it s just a compliment. And you should simply reply..with "thank you. " If, you think he smells nice too! ask what cologne he's wearing and smile and say I really like it!

Sent triggers something in the brain. I can't smell it off myself but a lot of people tell me i smell good and i don't use any perfume or any scented lotion. it's just a smell that my body produces. some are stronger than others and some you can't smell at all. one guy i dated said my scent made him really horny and as odd as it may seem, i knew a guy who lent his jacket to this girl and he just couldn't get her smell off his mind and he ended up dating her. Smell also has a huge effect on me as well. i love a good smelling guy, his natural sent or cologne. it drives me nuts.

It actually does have more meaning, it is a form of flirting. It may not seem so, but we men are primitive in some forms, we say simple things such as "you smell good" or "I like your hair". Take it as you may but know that he was flirting.

More than flirting though , he is using all of his senses to examine you, Visual, listening and if he comments possitively on your smell, then view it possitively. It's just another sign he's into you enough to try and compliment you.

don't read too much into it, its not complex and not twisted. He simply likes your scent. I don't say it to every woman, but I said it truthfully and respectfully to a girlfriend I had, just matter-of-fact, nothing perverted or kinky, just plain agreeable, pleasant.
