Doing it yourself?
You can get the forms from the courthouse.
It takes about 6 months if memory serves.. The forms will tell you.
Caution: there is one set of forms where either party can calcel it at any time up to it being finalalized by the court.. There is another set that can only be cancelled by the filer.. Make sure you ask.

it took my husband 2 years, but there were a lot of problems. His exwife tryed to join the army during the devorce, so her lawyer dropped her. She kept trying to say that my hubby was in breach of their agreements by seeing me, even after she introduced at least 5 of her Boyfriends to me and my hubby, by bringing them to his house when she picked up their two small children. AND because she can't hold a job for more than a week, she had him running back and forth to court changing the amount of the child support. THEN getting mad at my husband for proposing to me and trying to take visitation from him, which didn't work and nearly got her locked up.
She's lived in 5 different places with the kids since the devorce was final (March 10th, 2006), not including the 4 times she moved in and out with her friends and boyfriends.
Also, something that is messed up, the children have repeatedly told her that they want to live with me and my husband, but unless she agrees to let them, we have to wait till they are 13 (I think) before they can legally choose for themselves.
