Yes.

Your feelings don't need to turn on and off like a light bulb in a lamp.

However, you are responsible for how you act or choose not to act on those feelings.

Your Ex is an "X" for a reason, and there should be no considerations about going back. If these thoughts come to mind, it will be important for you to protect your marriage by keeping your mind in the present and not on what ifs.

If you and your ex have communication right now, considering your married and have these feelings, it would be best to tell your ex not to have any communication with you anymore. Don't tell her in person, tell her in a written letter or over the phone, with a trusted male friend in the room to hold you accountable.

If you think your wife won't freak out, you can tell your wife about your feelings. They are natural and normal, and she can help you work through them while keeping the focus on your relationship with her.

But if you think it would hurt her, or she would not understand, then you might want to talk to a male friend, preferably older, who can offer you some understanding, but will provide a wise influence supporting your current relationship with your wife.

In time, these feelings mellow to pleasant memories without the passion. But it takes a long time.

I hope this helps.

if u still love ur ex girlfriend u wouldnt of married ur wife unless u want something more in ur relationship with your wife so u r thinking about ur ex and comparing them both only u probably like ur ex more but convincing urself u really do love ur wife but u dont u only feel u must love her because u are married. next time its a good idea not to get married if ur still in love with ur ex. This is unfair to ur wife .. i hope u realise that rather than putting urself first.

Yes it is. Is it possible to truly love 2 women, I mean 100% love for the both of hem, No! Love is such a broad word to define that you can love two women. However, it is not real love for the both of them. If you still feel this way about your ex then your love for your wife is not real and ice versa.

It is a possibility. But maybe its also a figment of your imagination. Its not good for you to feel that way because u'll always feel torn between the two. I say you stay with ur wife because she is obviously the one that u chose to marry. Stop all contact with ur ex girlfriend.

Well naturally it is......its our animal instinct that tells us to spread our genes all around.....yet you must be smart though....when you come to think about it, you pretty much just want to have kids that dont turn out to be criminals....so you would probably like to provide a 24/7 father......so the sane thing to do would be to only love one girl for the rest of youre life.....besides its a lot more fun.....

Yes...don't you hate that?
Would be nice if you could combine them together as one person, but you can't. I would take a break and figure out what you really want and pick one so noone gets hurt!

Maybe you still hold a flame for your X because you have unresolved issues. Do you only feel this way towards your X becuase you can't have her?

You should only love one person. You are only made for one person and that is the one you should love so no you shouldn't love both of them.
