If a man 65, and a woman 58, are dating exclusively and as they sit together on the couch and watch tv, every time a sexy near-naked woman comes on tv either in a commercial or as a guest on a talk show like Jay Leno, etc, the boyfriend makes all these sounds like ooooohhhh and aaaahhhhh and wow, and look at that, etc. what does this mean and what should the girlfriend do about it.? Does it mean he is being disrespectful and is trying to hurt the girlfriend? If the girlfriend has asked him to stop because she doesn't like it and he promises to stop and then keeps it up, should she dump him?

Maybe he is trying to appear like he is still a sexy beast to her. I doubt he's doing it to disrespect the girlfriend.

He is using the wrong tactics to try to impress you with his manliness. Okay, so the answer to this question is in how deeply do you feel about this guy. If you aren't too emotionally entangled, which you must not be be if you are asking this question. I would say he is not a good communicator and it would be best to more on to bigger and better possibilities in man choices. If you feel he is teachable, give him some more chances to learn good behavior. Maybe have several people in a conversation and get him to see how other women and men feel about this behavior. Personally, I don't like it. My husband yells at football games on TV and I don't like that either, but I put up with it and continue to complain and express my disgust with it, but I keep him because, I think, in other aspects he is more valuable overall and worth the inconveniences of his football yelling.

Yes, it's annoying, but what about his other qualifications. Is that the only fault he has? My husband say's "YIKES" when he see's someone wearing something skimpy or see's a commercial on TV with sexy women. It doesn't really mean anything...kinda like a dog that chases cars...they aren't going to catch them. I would look at how he treats you when you are out together. Hey, I know, play him at his own game, see how he likes it. The next time a good looking guy comes along, make a remark or comment. Let him see how it feels. Might not help, but couldn't hurt.

Yes he IS Being disrespectful. This automatically makes you feel like crap. It probably makes you feel like you are not as attractive as they are and he makes a federal issue of it. Give him a dose of his own medicine. Whenever you go rent a movie to watch with him..make sure some hot stud is the main character. such as VAL KILMER. or some muscled up guy that just makes you melt. Turn it on..make all the wowwwwww ooooooooooh ahhhhhhhhh noises of your own. Talk about every guy that walks in a store in a pair of tight jeans etc. THen politely remind him that you are younger..that will really pump him up....hey..even go as far as noticing the buldge in the front of the tight jeans and make a comment about that....turn your head ..make noises...stare at them.......i cant stand that kinda bull &%$#

he's either trying to make you jealous, or he just has absolutely no respect for your feelings or your relationship. I would ask him which one it is, and if he says he's not trying to make you jealous, you really should dump him and find someone who will treat you right. what he's doing is just plain mean, disrespectful, and inconsiderate. he should be very happy to have a considerate, and considerably younger woman by his side! what comes on the tv shouldn't even catch his eye!

i would ask him to stop making the sounds. he can appreciate a beautiful woman without being obnoxious about it.
or better yet, the next time a hot guy comes on tv, she should make sounds like he does. it will make him realize how annoying it is...

He should be respectful to his girlfriend. If he cannot be, then dump him. He's old enough to know better & be polite.
