I've been dating this guy for a while. When I told him I had feelings for him (meaning we should take it to the next level) he didn't respond.
He didn't say anything to me about it!
It hurt me because he never acted as if he didn't like me.
And no, I'm not ugly, lol. I have a lot of self-confidence.
I know you can't force people to talk to you....but....(sigh)....

Maybe you need to give him some time. He might not be ready to take this relationship to the next level. Give him the time and wait and see what happens. If nothing happens, ask him again. If its something he doesnt want, he needs to let you know instead of dragging it out.

Well he does like you if you've been dating. I can't imagine someone wasting their time dating someone they don't like. But, his lack of response is pretty harsh. Even if someone doesn't have the same feelings, it'd be decent for them to say something, anything, just so your guts aren't out there twirling in the breeze.
A similar thing happened to me recently. I think some men might just be emotionally stunted and it takes them a long time to process their feelings especially if they've been hurt in the past.

Hey, there is nothing wrong with showing how you feel. I am thinking that this guy was not ready for it. Give him some time to think over and take it slow.

Wait and see first. This might have taken him by surprise. Maybe he needs some time to "digest" this first. Or maybe he just didn't know what to say. Not everyone is a good talker you know.

If you want to know what someone feels, the best thing to do is ask in plain English rather than playing games.
