Does anyone here use chat rooms and if so, what are they like?

I tried to get on the yahoo one but it was all a bit mind-boggling!

I've only tried Yahoo chat rooms and they are hopeless. They might have been a good idea once upon a time, but they have now been completely taken over by 'bots' (automated responses which try to lure you to their own dodgy websites, with the attendant risk of adware and viruses). I really wish Yahoo would do something about 'bots' - they are a real nuisance. Until they do, I would steer clear of chat rooms if I were you.

I use a chat room on forcespenpals site. I've met some really nice people there we always have a laugh in the room. It's mainly females but there are a few men that go in there. Some other sites I've gone to are not so nice ..so beware! Some are just an excuse for porn chat

Yeah Yahoo nevertheless has their previous chat rooms to get to them you will desire to bypass to the messenger tab on your messenger and bypass to yahoo chat then click on connect a room. only warning you there's a super style of bots in the rooms at present. not sure if genuine human beings head there anymore.

Chatrooms I've used just filled up with so many people, and everyone was talking at once so it didn't work for me, though I got chatting 1 on 1 with someone in a chatroom and that worked better.

boring, boring, boring and usually full of young dysfunctional teens craving sex or older dysfunctional men craving sex! You may be lucky to have a conversation at some point but I would not hold my breath!!!

hmm lets see. no i don't use chatrooms. only a chatroom and a game combined. A chatroom is so boring.. cuz nothing goes on really.
