Are you going to a "popularity counts" or a "Prom"? Who cares how old he is, if he is your Friend, and you know each other, the whole thing about a Prom, is to have a "date" in the first place (many don't), and not only do you have one, your friends! Everyone else will be "envious" sweet heart! Have a great time, and Merry Christmas. ps: Take lots, and lots of pictures, you will never regret it.

Nope, especially if you are friends.
However, I would advise against dating him because you two are at different points in your life and he is too young to "date" romantically.
