How can I talk to my crush please help I'm shy?

I really want to talk to this guy. I have never talked this guy so I don't know if he likes me. We would say hi to each other when we both went to the same middle school but then I had to go to a different middle school and now we go to the same high school. That was over a year ago so he probally doesn't even remember anyway. I am 14 and have never dated anybody before, which I guess if weird because all my friends have or have had boyfriends. What should I do though? He isn't in any of my classes but I see him in the hallways,before and after school and during lunch but we don't sit close to each other, I only see him after I am finished with my locker. Now that we are in high school I don't really now where he sits. We can kinda sit anywhere we want just not in the hallways. I'm shy though, he is always with his friends and I just want to talk to him when he isn't around so many people. All my friends I have started talking to me first. How can I make the first move? Please help me!

arrange it so that you bump into him more often, than when you meet ask him say didnt you go to such andsuch school,I remember you from there, wow you have become such a handsome dude.

do something ridiculous.

grab a friend thats somewhat outgoing, and go around the lunch table stating how you have a serious survey.

but make it a riduculous survey

example:
what color toothbrush do you have?

chances are everyone will be like wtf and be like no no we're serious! and thats got to make some conversation happen, and if youre lucky, maybe even an inside joke with you and yoru crush

I have the same problem. I STILL haven't got enough courage to say anything. I'm going to wait unyil I'm older. (I'm 14) Because even if I did have agirlfriend they probably wouldn't let me date or anything so....

same problem.but take the chance to talk to him and ask him out.
i solve the poblem by asking her out.
