Let me guess, you want a cheap dog because you don't have much money? Do you have money for it's vet care? IF not... don't get one. Rottweilers are good pets if their owners are intelligent. If you are not prepared to take it to obedience classes for 2-3 years - don't get a Rottie (or any other large breed for that matter). They are very intelligent dogs that need their owners to be leaders and be "alpha" and if you don't know how to do that, and won't take it to obedience classes, you will have a monster on your hands! I know... I've owned a Rott!

Price should never be an object when looking for a puppy... cheap puppies either come from puppy mills or idiot backyard breeders that don't take care of their adult dogs which means you will get a poorly bred dog with lots of potential health problems. Remember, you will get what you pay for... and as Mrs. Gump says: Stupid is as stupid does.

Also... your dog should only be outside when you are with it... if you leave it outside chained or tied or even fenced for large periods of time without human companionship, it will develop very bad habits like digging, barking, chasing cars and people, and could become dangerous from boredom. Many dogs will do anything for attention, even if it is negative attention like getting scolded. At least then you will be interacting with it. Don't get a dog to leave it outside!

OK. I'd go for an artic breed, and Google 'Alaskan Malamute Club of America' or 'Samoyed Club of America', but if cheap is the main criterion, you don't want a dog---you just THINK you want a dog...um---why do you want a dog to keep outside?
